Her first appearance in the Art Deco Games Universe begins with Hotel Luximinal. Payton is at the center of a time-based paradox caused by an elevator accident involving herself and her Empress – who is also her creator.

The guest takes on the role of a time-intervening detective, uncovering clues hidden in anomalies throughout the hotel. By solving the paradox, they restore the timeline – securing the existence of both Payton and the Empress.
