Origin Story
They met at university and, from the first moment, became almost inseparable. Both researched out of pure passion.
They lived together in a small apartment and spent days, nights, and years studying the mysteries of physics — contributing greatly to the understanding of time and space.
Because of power structures, betrayal, and deceit, their work was never recognized.
Soon they heard that fragments of their own research were being published under the names of others, whispered about in the higher circles of society.
When they confronted their professors, they found them already prepared — surrounded by followers who intended to silence them once and for all.
Even in this moment of danger, they remained composed.
They held their dignity, their calm, their control.
Inside they burned with anger and disbelief, but their faces showed only intellect and restraint.
A single glance between them was enough — they understood each other without words.
They managed to argue their way out of the immediate danger, but only under cruel conditions.
They were ordered to continue their work, “for it could do no harm,” yet in a place known only to the professor, under circumstances they quickly realized were a trap.
As they listened to the conditions, the truth became clear — they were to be exploited until useless, then disposed of.
When the first blow struck, one of them fell with pride, his head held high.
The second, horrified but determined to follow his friend’s example, watched him fall before meeting the same fate — his own collapse as dignified as the first.
When they awoke, everything had changed.
Arrival at the Empire
When they awoke, everything had changed.
One found himself on the open sea, lying on a vessel of the Empire, slowly drifting toward its golden shore.
The other awoke in one of the Empire’s Gentleman Clubs, as if he had merely dozed off for a moment.
Richard greeted him quietly and served him a glass of whiskey.
Both wandered separately through the Empire for some time, exploring its wonders and studying its strange physics.
Eventually, they found each other again — and in that moment, both knew:
Here they would stay.
Here they could continue their research freely, without corruption or betrayal. Here, the rules were different, the technology advanced, the possibilities endless.
Life in the Empire
With the Empire’s progress in time-travel technology and the immortality provided by Luximinal, they moved into a penthouse high above the golden skyline.
The lower floors became their laboratories — filled with instruments, equations, and quiet ambition.
Here they continued their research into the phenomena of time and space, studying the two suns of the Empire, the Backrooms, and the vast network of laboratories and research facilities they helped the androids to build.
Their work earned high recognition within the Empire.
They are frequently consulted for matters regarding temporal anomalies, physical laws, and the Empire’s structural resilience.
They appear calm and collected, yet their passion burns in every discussion about physics — expressed not through gestures or facial expression, but through words, tone, and precision.
When asked about their research, their explanations grow intense and expansive; one begins a sentence, and the other finishes it naturally, as if their minds were one.

Research
The Physicists dedicate their lives to the study of Time and Space within the Empire’s structure.
Their work focuses on understanding how timelines overlap, how reality stabilizes itself, and how movement through time affects perception, architecture, and consciousness.
Their motto
“Science and fascination. Forever.”
Conversation and Interaction
The Physicists will gladly tell you stories about their adventures through time and space — about timelines that bent unexpectedly, or places where the Empire folded upon itself.
They speak with calm fascination, always analyzing, always wondering.
And when they finish, they inevitably ask you in return if you have ever witnessed something similar.
If you have, they will insist you tell them immediately — every detail, every anomaly — for the sake of continuing their research.
Even for two minds like theirs, the Empire is far too vast to explore alone.
